Stephanie is a Ph.D. student in the Chemistry department at Old Dominion University working under the advisement of Dr. Pat Hatcher (http://sci.odu.edu/chemistry/directory/hatcher.shtml). She has worked with Dr. Wozniak as the graduate research assistant on the GEOTRACES project. Stephanie has done excellent work optimizing the 1H NMR analysis of aerosol water soluble organic matter in marine aerosol samples. Her dissertation work will involve the chemical characterization of aerosol samples collected during the WACS-2 cruise in the North Atlantic Ocean. In addition to her love for science, Stephanie enjoys spending time on the water, reading, baking, crafts, great food, and fine wine.
